John is extremely professional, he called ahead of time offering to grab me a water or something from Quiktrip. He reviewed what needed to be done, made sure I knew what options I had in replacement springs and available financing for the project. I appreciate the quick turn around (springs broke on a Thursday and fixed on Saturday, only because I couldn't be home on Friday.) and the service fee was waived from the start. Use A1 with no worries, and know that you are getting a job well completed.

We had a spring break on our garage door. I waited until Monday morning to contact someone. Within two hours, a technician was on his way. He fixed the door and checked everything for us. We were so pleased. Our door should last another 35 years! It is a very nice company to deal with.

Great interaction with Jeremy. He provided different options and went over all the differences to make my decision easier. Jeremy has great customer service skills and is someone A1 should be proud to have representing them. I did choose to go with the lifetime warranty springs and a maintenance plan. I should not have any further garage door issues ever. I possibly might need a new garage door opener in the next few years. In which I will call on A1 to take care of that need.

Brion was fantastic. What started out as an annual service review morphed into more as his detailed inspection uncovered some issues. Candidly my wife and i knew something wasn’t right but we did not know the half of it. Brion went over his findings and provided i formation which allowed me to do my cost/benefit analysis ( in other words check my account balances) and once we decided on a course of action, he got all the work done efficiently. Now we have a garage door which opens and closes as it should and a whole lot quieter. Thanks for a great experience and i could not recommend more highly.

Kevin came out about a month ago and gave us AMAZING service and replaced a few mechanical things on our garage door. About a month later, the door pulled a bit and I knew exactly who to call. I requested Kevin again because of how informative and nice he was last time. He showed up and got to work almost immediately. Our door is now running smoothly and quiet again. This was the best service repair service I’ve ever had! They texted me ahead of my appointment. My technician Seth Huckabee called me shortly after and gave me a time he would be here. He was right on time and was very friendly, he inspected my problems very thoroughly and showed me what my problems were. My garage door is over 25 years old and needed a lot of work. He gave me several options and quality of parts and he explained each option very well. Once he had it apart he found another small problem. He repaired it at no extra cost! He operated it several times to be sure it worked well and assured that I was happy with the repairs. Thank you Seth for great service! I would highly recommend this service company!

Had a new garage door opener installed and new rollers. The door would not go up or down and the remote did not work--20 minutes after it was finished---was then told -no one was available to correct it till next day. NOT good.Mid day--another technician did come--named Ethan and was totally able to fix wiring problem--in about 12 minutes.Ethan was marvelous.Not sure if I would do more business here.

Jeremy showed up at the scheduled time for a tune up. I knew something was wrong because the door kept making loud popping noises. He pointed out that the springs were about to fail and the bracket holding the springs was through the sheet rook and about to fail totally. He had everything needed on his truck fortunately. He completed the job in a couple of hours. I wasn't expecting the expensive amount, but he gave me a senior discount which helped. Satisfied my door now works properly and safely.

Had Jeremy out this morning to check my opener that was acting up. It was determined that it had seen its better days and was time for a replacement. I also like the way A1 introduces the technician by email and text that will be coming to do the repairs. Seeing Joel Kaufman's photo and reading a little about him, felt like I already knew him when he showed up. Would 100% recommend A1 for anyone looking for garage door repair. We had a garage door that got out of its track and Joel came by and thoroughly explained all of our options and the door works better than it ever did. He also did a courtesy inspection on our main garage door and found a critical safety issue and was able to get that repaired the same day. We would have had no idea there was any issue until the cable to our garage snapped, which could have caused potential injury and would been an extreme expense. Very thankful to have found a reputable company like A1 and will be requesting Joel for future maintenance needs.

Chris gave excellent service, very attentive to detail. Door looks and works great. He explained everything in detail afterward, helped me set up "my Q" on my phone to use as an extra remote. He did the frameout on the original opening frame (for reinforcement). A+kudos to a great young man. Excellent communication and moved our spring replacement up as they could. Very happy with Joel’s service! Well trained, explained everything, professional in every way. There was some sticker shock for sure though! Replaced broken single spring with double spring 25000 cycle with 5yr warranty. Also replaced both bearings on the cable pulleys. One definitely needed. $1100!! Not sure we over paid or not. Very glad to get such good and timely service though!

A1 responded quickly to my garage door situation. I had two gentlemen come replace the springs on my garage door. Seth was great when he came out. Seems very knowledgeable and was super kind.Unfortunately when I scheduled the appointment whoever scheduled me did it wrong. I waited for someone for 3.5 hours the day before to show up. We had to call to figure out why we were stood up. Wasn’t offered any type of discounts or anything for my time. Your tech, Joel K, provided service to my mother this afternoon. She (and therefore I) could not be more pleased. Prompt, professional, honest, extremely courteous and helpful; he identified the problem and took care of it. My Mom is a widow and isn’t as young as she once was, so I am super diligent about finding the best service personnel for her needs. I had a garage door off the rail, a pulley with loosely wound cabling, and a snapped motor chain. Joel introduced himself, I showed him the situation and he asked some questions about the door, took photos of the problem areas, constantly assessing every component of the door and motor explaining how all the components are supposed to work together. In short, Joel assessed that I needed a replacement because too many components on an overhead builders grade door were faulty. He did go ahead and put my door on the rail again and loosen the spring to get the door to fully close. I’d say within thirty minutes on the 4th of July no less we had Cory from sales on the phone getting an estimate. I couldn’t have had a more satisfying experience with a knowledgeable tech in tandem with his customer care mentality. Spot on.

Door had missing and loose screw. Door was shaking, very late arrival after 3 changes. Nice young man but had to get Detroit. Outside door pad control not synchronized. Door will not open from outside. Repair man said I need to call for for a tech. Person Bet I will not receive a call. Thanks

Zach came out to install our new door and motor. He was very kind. He explained the process so I knew exactly what to expect. He verified that what I was getting matched up with what I had purchased, right down to the color. Once installed, he went over some of the features that I needed to know about. I was very, very pleased with Mr. Brennan Bowen’s professional get-the-job-done and do it according to my homeowners warranty regulations. He knew exactly what to do and did not waste a moment but fixed my 28 year old garage door and now it works perfectly and he even gave me a remote for my car which was just wonderful since I didn’t have one when I moved into this house in August. Would highly recommend this company. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant to talk with. Our service technician Joel was very professional and courteous. Offering to grab me something from the convenient store before he headed to my house. Joel was very professional and customer satisfaction-oriented through the whole service call. He arrived less than 3hrs of me calling. He was very presentable and was someone I felt very comfortable having at my house even if I was away. I really felt like this was a company I could recommend to friends and family, which never happens. The prices aren't cheap but neither is the company or it's employees, they are indeed top notch!

A1 was excellent! The tech, Dean Adams, was amazing! He installed and adjusted everything, including replacing a cracked brace on the garage door, showed us how to use the system, helped us download it to our phones, even helped us reprogram our in-car remotes. Great experience getting my garage door spring tensioner replaced. Got to learn better about the function of the system. Justin was very professional and was able to replace the springs at a timely manner without having to wait weeks for replacement parts. Will recommend for others for sure!

Excellent service! Very pleasant and professional. He arrived promptly, advised me on what was absolutely needed for the repair of my door, gave some extra suggestions noting they were recommended but not needed to make the door work, but explained why I might want to go ahead. Amazing service. Justin came to replace our garage door opener but he took time to educate me about the whole operation of the door. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns with my current set up. Chad and Josh were scheduled to be here between 1 and 6 but called around 11 and were here around 30 minutes later.We were hoping our door issue was fixable but once Chad and Josh did their diagnostics we realized we were needing a new door and parts. They were here for almost 4 plus hours and were able to get our door working even better than before.Both were personable, friendly, and professional and we were most appreciative of their work and effort.We are now waiting for our new door itself which hopefully will be sooner than later and we're looking forward to having them back for the installation.Very happy with what got done and had great conversations. Ephraim texted ahead of time to inform me he was on the way and was very timely with his arrival. Very polite and explained to me all that was going on with my door. He told me what all needed to be done, what he was going to do, as well as what else would need to be done. He also assisted me with trying to program my remotes (but there was an issue that was interfering with completion). However, he did tell me about, and helped me with, connecting to Aladdin Connect, the phone app for garages. I had never even heard of this but am so thankful to Ephraim for this bit of information. I am now able to open and close my door from my phone. He was very, very, helpful. Job well done.

Smooth process from start to finish! When I called the office, the scheduler was courteous and efficiently found a convenient time for them to send a technician. The Seth (the technician) contacted me in a timely manner the day of the service And arrived at exactly the appointed time. Gave me an estimate for one hour of repair, and was done inside of 45 minutes. Provided me with multiple options for repair and replacement and gave me prices for each. South was knowledgeable, courteous, and very efficient. Excellent service!

We contacted multiple garage door companies in the area. Only two responded back and A1 was the only one that acted like they actually wanted our business. The customer service rep who set up our appointment was very nice and booked us a time that worked for us. Communication from A1 was excellent. We received both text and email reminders of our appointment time. On the day of the appointment DEAN called and let us know he was a little early and on his way. He arrived right when he said he would and was very nice. He knew exactly what the issue was when he heard our garage door open. He told us about one of their motors but when we told him what it was we were looking for in our system he immediately knew of another product. We loved what the system offered and how QUIET the motor was. He had it installed quickly, answered our questions, and even helped us set it up in the app. DEAN was very nice and very knowledgeable. An all-around GREAT employee to work with.We are EXTREMELY grateful that we called A1 on the recommendation from a friend. We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend DEAN and A1.

Tech Chad was very professional, informative & personable while doing a much needed tune-up on my garage door. I am satisfied with the completed maintenance for today. However, had 1 part that was not available so Chad will be returning to complete that as well once it arrives. I stumbled onto A1 when doing a search on Google for garage door repairs. A1 performed excellent service! Chad was our technician who called to let us know he was on his way to our home. He told me he was stopping to get gas at our local convenient store and could he bring me a coffee. I was blown away over the years I have had hundreds of repairs and was never treated with as much thoughtfulness as today. He even notice I had on Proud Marine Mom shirt and thanks us for our service. Chad not only serviced our garage door, he treated us as an important part of his day! I called A1 Garage Door for a random quote along with other companies. They were able to schedule my appointment within the same week, on a weekend day without any struggles. They spent a few minutes to ask me questions regarding our needs, our existing equipment, etc. On the day of our scheduled appointment, I received a call, email and text that the service guy (Seth) was on his way and would arrive within 10 minutes.Seth arrived, asked me a few more questions, explained the options and even showed me the quoted amounts in comparison format for all of the options. He was patient, not pushy and was basically there to help with our needs. He was able to schedule an install for a later/convenient time or he could do it right then. We went forward, he had all of the product, installed, double checked, instructed and helped us set up all of the controllers, set the keypad to our requested code and cleaned up extremely well.I highly recommend A1 Garage Doors for any of the services they offer. Customer service is a priority for this company along with customer satisfaction. Seth is the best salesman I have worked with. He knows the products!

I honestly don’t take the time to review most companies. HOWEVER… This company is worth it. My wife and I had them install garage door openers for our home and they not only did an incredible job BUT… one of our doors was missing a strut for durability and Dean (one of the specialists) said he would come back out and personally make sure it was installed.Dean went above and beyond. I have to say that this group of folks had the best customer service I have ever experienced ; start to finish. They person who took me call was super friendly and worked with me very easily to book the appointment. They had me at a window that was I think from 8-1. The driver called me @ 8:15 and was at my house at 8:30. Super friendly and personable tech. Gave me my options to fix my problem and told me it's be 40 minutes to 45. He was done in 30 and explained every detail if what was done. Really great performance all around for this group. Highly recommend!

$2000+ for a set of springs(4) seems high. If it weren't for the fact that both my cars were stuck in the garage and I needed at least one out I would have called around; my neighbor who is a builder said that price seemed "higher than giraffe balls". I had no problem with the technician at all, He was prompt, courteous and did a great job in the 100+ degree garage. A manager did call me and explained the situation which I now totally understand since my garage door weighs over 500 lbs and the pandemic has created a supply chain issue for a lot of their materials. That being said, he was extremely professional and wanted to make sure I was happy. I will use them for all my future garage door problems (although hopefully not for awhile........)

I called on Sunday afternoon and talked to Bryan, I believe was his name. He was very professional, helpful and kind. Bryan scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 8:00AM to 1:00PM.The service tech called a little before 8:00AM and said he was on his way. Dean arrived and introduced himself to my husband and me. First, can I just say that I loved how professional and prompt this company is? I called at 10 a.m. in a panic for a service call, and by 10:15 someone had already sent me a confirmation email and text for my same day appointment. I was quoted a time between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. By 12:30, I recieved a call and text from Technician, Dean A. stating he was on his way.Dean came and assessed the situation and by situation I mean...I backed out of my garage and hit my door and boy, did I do some damage. (CANNOT believe I did this!) Dean gave me a quote immediately and promised to do what he could for us. Mind you, our garage door was completely down off the track. Not good! Thankfully, there wasn't significantdamage to my actual door.In less than an hour, our garage door was back up and working better than before. Dean was very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He assessed his work and looked over all his work again, even adding an extra screw to ensure everything was in place.I highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service, more specifically Dean, for all of your garage door needs!!!

My garage door spring broke on 4/10/21 and I called A1 Garage. They scheduled a repair for 4/11. Chris was the tech and was very professional, competent and knowledgeable. Chris replaced both springs in my 2 car garage. The cost to replace 2 springs with labor was $736.00. A1 also had another option for lifetime guaranty for even more $ but I declined. I thought this was a high price to replace 2 springs but Chris assured me this was a competitive price. I did not check other prices and am hoping that is the truth.

TUL Mark 068-A was very knowledgeable and accessed the situation while keeping me informed each step of the repair process. He also kept me informed of the cost.
